The agent doesn’t only live in the desktop app. Once your team connects Slack or iMessage, you can talk to it from where you already work — ask a question from a channel, get paged about an incident and reply on your phone.

From Slack

Add the Nuphos bot to a channel and map that channel to your team. Mention the bot or message it and it runs an agent session, replying in the channel. Multiple people in a channel can interact with the same agent. Set this up in Slack integration.

From iMessage

Pair your phone once (a code from the desktop app), and the agent becomes a contact you can text. It threads its replies back to you, splitting long answers into readable chunks. Set this up in iMessage integration.

Reply modes

In both channels the agent can reply in one of two styles:
  • Status updates — an initial acknowledgement message is updated in place as the agent works, so you watch progress on one message.
  • Threaded reply — the agent posts its final answer as a reply when it’s done.

Same agent, same guardrails

Talking from Slack or iMessage runs the same agent against the same connected accounts, under the same controls. It can investigate and propose plans — and any change still needs human approval before it executes.
